| Marijuana Decriminalization Update |

As you know, the decriminalization of marijuana (and THC) takes effect January 2, 2009. The Executive Office of Public Safety and Security was tasked by Governor Patrick with implementing the new law, which inserts new sections into Chapter 94C, sections 32L, 32M and 32N.
Below are two items that will help with the changes in the law. This should answer most of your questions about the new decriminalization of marijuana law.
